Theres always something fun about playing with slime! Especially when you have a good (and “sensible” excuse) for doing so! Yes, you can sit there and play to your hearts content, all in the name of hygiene (and who can argue with that?).

So, how can slime be hygienic? This isn’t just any old slime, it’s Cyber Clean! – saving you from the perils of the millions of germs and bacteria which lurk in the crevices of your keyboard and other electronic devices, just waiting to strike you down at any moment! (ok, maybe a slight exaggeration there, but you get the picture)

So what exactly is Cyber Clean? It’s actually an incredibly simple idea – take a pot of silly putty / slime that kids love to play with, and add an anti bacterial property. If you’re anything like me, then you hate getting up in the morning and manage to hit the alarm clocks snooze button in your sleep, meaning when you do wake up you’re in a mad rush to get to work!

Clocky is the answer! Clocky is the alarm clock thats impossible to ignore, as once the alarm goes off it scoots off to find a place to hide, whirring it’s way round your bedroom. In order to turn the alarm off, you have no choice but to get out of bed and chase it round the room, and although it sounds annoying, it’s actually incredibly effective at getting you up.

If you do get fed up with chasing it round, you can disable the wheels so that Clocky functions as a normal alarm clock, but that does kind of defeat the point a bit.  The Clocky also has an adustable snooze timer, although once you’ve got out of bed to chase after it once, it’s unlikely you’ll go back to sleep again.

The USB Whack It game brings the return of the old favourite “Whack a Mole!”, which used to be found in arcades up and down the country.

As the little faces randomly light up, push them with your finger to score points. It’s an extremely simple idea, but proves very addictive! The Whack It games last for 30 seconds to 1 minute, as as the timer decreases the lights flash faster and faster, making it more and more difficult to keep it. Challenge your co workers to see who has the fastest fingers!

At the end of the game, your points are shown on the LCD scoreboard, and then its time to have another go and see if you can beat your high score. A great stress reliever, and a very welcome break from actually doing some work!

There been some fantastic new toys and gadgets out this year, and the Hydrofly has got to be one of the best! (Although calling it a toy really doesn’t do it justice!) It should definately be Number One on your Christmas List!

The Flytech Dragonfly is predicted by the Toy Retailers Association to be one of this Christmas’s top toys, and it’s not hard to see why!

The Remote Control Dragonfly can be flown inside and out, and flaps like a real insect. Although its extremely light weight for easy flying, its carbon fibre structure is extremely durable and with flexible wings is able to stand up to all the bumps and crashes!

The RC Dragonfly even comes with two modes, Beginner and Professional, to help you get the best out of the DragonFly and make flying easy, whatever your experience with Radio Controlled flying. The Remote Control Dragonfly comes comes with a 2 channel controller, so you can fly the Dragonfly left, right, up and down. It also has different frequency modes, so you can have more than one dragonfly flying about at the same time. The dragon fly is powered from a base unit, which requires 6 AA batteries, so you can charge it up for a flight where ever you are!

The RC Dragonfly is extremely unusual, as it mimics the way real insects fly, flapping its wings and can take off from any smooth surface, and is able to soar, dive bomb, and glide silently for soft landings.
